Dawn M. Parsons
Dawn Parsons is the Chief Trial Assistant of the Jackson County Prosecutor’s Drug Unit. She received her J.D. in 1993 from the University
of Missouri – Kansas City. In addition to her supervisory and administrative duties, she carries a trial docket of major felonies. She
also provides statewide and nationwide training for prosecutors and other law enforcement agencies. In 2001 Ms. Parsons was awarded the
Lon Hocker Trial Advocacy award by the Missouri Bar. In 2003 The University of Missouri- Kansas City Law School awarded her the “Decade
Award.” Ms. Parsons serves as an Instructor for Trial Advocacy I and the Prosecutor Clinic.
