The Academic Enrichment Program is available to students who are most likely to benefit from assistance in the transition to law study. The Academic Enrichment Program is not remedial in nature. Rather, it is designed to maximize the potential of students who participate by addressing those factors that could pose an impediment to success in law school.
Academic Enrichment begins with a brief summer program immediately prior to orientation. This program is followed up during the academic year with weekly group meetings focusing on learning styles, learning strategies, time management and development of skills necessary for law school success. Students also meet weekly with Academic Enrichment teaching assistants.
The materials used in Academic Enrichment are available to all students on reserve in the law library and on the web. Periodic lectures covering the topics addressed in Academic Enrichment are provided for all students through the Academic Enrichment Lecture Series.
The Academic Enrichment Program is supervised by Professor Ellen Suni
